Dental Implants With External Connection
The implant connection is the interface between the abutment and the implant. We speak of an external connection when the male part is on the upper part of the implant, the abutment ( female part ) fits onto it and the abutment screw connects the two parts. The external hex connection (plate with a hexagonal shape ) is the most common external connection, as originally introduced with Branemark type implants.
Spotimplant references 554 dental implants with external connection from 165 different brands.
